Delivering Your Goods Safely and On Time

Domestic / International Control

We apply our knowledge, skills, tools, techniques and systems to define, visualize, measure, control, report and improve processes with the goal to meet profitability requirements.

Line Sequencing

Rollins can help reduce your inventory and line stoppage costs by implementing a line sequencing program. We bring in your materials from your supply base to our facility and warehouse them until you need them. Based on your needs, Rollins delivers the materials directly to the production line when you need them. We can help you across town or around the world. Kitting is an effective means of supplying the parts you need for a predetermined number of units to be produced. We can kit the same parts every time so you know with each delivery, you are getting the exact same
materials so you can plan your production line effectively.

Pick / Pack / Kit

Pick & Pack services entail taking ordered goods out of stock and packing them so they can be effectively shipped to the end customer. Rollins then creates a customized kit that is assembled and shipped as one unit. Rollins offers a variety of flexible order fulfillment options including: breaking down pallets of cases for shipment of individual cases; picking individual items (packs or inner packs) from cases for order fulfillment; as well as building new cartons, packs or pallets to fulfill
customized orders and meet customer requirements.

Import / Export

Though our extensive network of freight forwarders and customs brokers, Rollins is able to provide our customers the best and most economical solution for import and export needs.

Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)

DDU is the delivery of goods and cargo insurance to the final destination point, which is often the project site or buyer’s premises, at seller’s expense. Buyer assumes the import customs clearance and payment of customs duties and taxes. The seller may opt not to insure the goods at his/her own risks.

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)

The seller is responsible for most of the expenses, which include the cargo insurance, import customs clearance, and payment of customs duties and taxes at the buyer’s end. The delivery of goods to the final destination point is often the project site or buyer’s premises. The seller may opt not to insure the goods at his/her own risks.

Consignments

Consignment Inventory is inventory that is in the possession of the customer, but is still owned by the supplier. In other words, the supplier places some of his inventory in his customer’s possession (in their store or warehouse) and allows them to sell or consume directly from his stock. The customer purchases the inventory only after he has resold or consumed it. The key benefit to the customer should be obvious; he does not have to tie up his capital in inventory.

Custom Clearance
We perform all necessary steps to obtain US Customs clearance for your goods in order to get your shipments released and delivered to their final destination in a timely manner. Rollins works with US Customs and all other government agencies on behalf of your company to obtain the fastest possible clearance into the United States. We file entries electronically with US Customs and ensure all other government agency requirements are met.

Intermodal Freight

Intermodal freight transport involves the transportation of freight in an intermodal container or
vehicle, using multiple modes of transportation (rail, ship and truck), without any handling of the
freight itself when changing modes. This method reduces cargo handling and improves security,
may reduce damages and loss, and may allow freight to be transported faster.
